Hello everyone I am a candidate who is going to take the doctoral examination and I come from China. It's a pleasure to share my experience and some personal information with you here.
I graduated from Peking University with a major in computer science. During my university years I partited in some projects the most meaningful of which was a innovation and entrepreneurship competition and our team won the first prize in the competition. This competition made me realize the importance of innovation and also stimulated my passion for scientific research.
After graduation I joined a well-known internet company and worked as a software developer. This work experience has taught me many practical skills and work methods as well as improved my teamwork ability. However I realized that I needed to explore the theory of computer science more deeply so I chose to enter the master's degree stage.
During the master's period my research direction was computer vision. I partited in several projects and the most effective one was a new vision recognition algorithm proposed by our team.
